Queen Bee Designs Jewelry
About Queen Bee Designs
Queen Bee Designs is a local, Washington DC based, jewelry boutique created by Allison Priebe Brooks. Allison went to the Smithsonian where she was graduated from the studio art program for jewelry design. She started her LLC in 2002 with the mission to appeal to all women at all stages of in their lives. When I met Allison she radiated inspiration in every word she spoke and truly gives powerful meaning to the title girl boss entrepreneur. Products range in prices whether it be something affordable or more luxurious yet still affordable. Her jewelry product line includes necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets. My favorites pieces included big stone necklaces and earrings tassles! Accessories in her line include shawls, sunglasses, dresses, keychains, and handbags.
Allison has a long list of impressive accomplishments including being in print editions of The Washington Post, Lucky Magazine, and The Washingtonian. She has helped style celebrities such as Marcia Cross. Many first ladies (Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, and Barbara Bush), senators, and congresswomen (Nacy Pelosi) have Queen Bee Designs pieces in their jewelry collection. Fashion fans include Vogue’s Andre Leon Talley and fashion consultant Tim Gunn. Her success has been seen in the media as well on television shows (Sex and the City), news shows (Good Morning America), trade journals (Women’s Wear Daily), and magazines (Lucky Magazine and People Magazine).

Bloggers who Brunch Event
I was very honored to attend the first “Bloggers Who Brunch” event at Queen Bee’s Alexandria pop-up boutique. You can visit her boutique at 3690 King Street Alexandria, VA. The event was in celebration of 15 years Queen Bee has been in the fashion business. Each Blogger who attended received a designer piece to wear themselves or to give as a gift to a loved one. It was great meeting local bloggers in person that I have been following and supporting on Instagram! Allison provided an amazing spread of snacks, an adorable mimosa bar and an onsight photographer for the event! Thank you again so much for inviting me, I had a blast!
